Hamburg – an emotion.

You know what it means to love Hamburg when enjoying a good coffee in the morning at the river Elbe in Oevelgönne while deeply absorbing ships passing by.

You know what it means to love Hamburg when taking a walk at the Alster Lake at sunset, watching the swans and passing sailing boats while at the end of the horizon the skyline of the city rises in a sea of lights.

You know what it means to love Hamburg when listening to the seagulls and getting goosebumps when the sound of a big vessel’s signal horn is spreading over the city.

For me, that’s what it means to love a city like Hamburg.

I feel very proud and enjoy presenting my hometown with its magnificent and livable sides to guests.
